An ensemble piece, the little Miss Sunshine of the title is a beauty competition for little girls. Our heroine received the title when the previous winner was disqualified. Now her dysfunctional family are piling into their kombi for a road trip to the Nationals. And what a family... from wanna-be overachiever dad, desperate mother, homosexual uncle, and moody cousin, they're set for a trip which will have far-reaching effects on their personal lives. At the time of writing, this movie came in at number 198 on the IMDB's list of top 250 movies.
