Based on the Oscar Wilde play ''Lady Windermere's Fan'', this period piece is set on the Italian coast in the 1930s. A seductress is forced to flee New York, and arrives in Italy, where she sets her sights on a young man, recently married. Just to keep things even, there is another rakish gentleman who has set *his* sights on the young bride. Much mayhem and repartee ensues, in true Oscar Wilde fashion.
