The president of the US is under threat of assassination. The situation is complicated by the fact that there is possibly a mole in the Secret Service. Two young investigators are brought in to find the mole, and the evidence points to one of the investigator's mentor, an experienced agent. That agent's problem is that he is having an affair with the president's wife, which leaves him without viable alibis for several hours. But as the investigation progresses, the young agents come to realise that maybe they are chasing the wrong man...
