Pixar's latest offering is aimed squarely at young boys, and their fascination with cars. The hero in this tale is a young sports car, travelling across America to take part in a major race on the west coast. He gets a little lost and ends up in a small town on Route 66, where he meets an older race car. They develop a relationship and learn a few things from each other. He also falls for a sexy Porsche, which leaves him with a problem: does he choose her, or his racing career? Reviewers overseas feel that this is one of Pixar's weaker offerings.
