Hollywood hauls out a mermaid for this kiddie-friendly flick. Two young girls find a mermaid who has washed ashore. She agrees to grant them a wish, if they will help her prove to her father that love exists. She needs to do this to escape an arranged under-sea marriage. So they teach her how to get a guy — in this case, a hot hunky lifeguard — to fall for her... and everyone has life-enhancing lessons along the way.
