Hoot

Based on a best-selling kiddie novel, this family movie has a look at three young bio-terrorists. A farm boy moves to the city, and soon has two new friends. One of them is actively engaged in sabotaging a construction company's efforts to erect a new pancake house. There are burrowing owls living on the site, and their habitat would be destroyed by the building. Soon all three kids are involved in the activities, turning the movie into something like ''Home Alone'' in the forest.
