A tennis pro, no longer good enough to compete, switches to coaching the toffs in London. He meets a young man at the club, and as they get on well, is soon introduced to his friend's sister — and his friend's financée. Before long there are two happy couples, but the tennis player finds the forbidden fruit extremely tempting. After he marries the sister, an opportunity for tasting the fruit arises, which leaves him in a difficult position. Should he continue to risk everything for an affair on the side?
