The Hills Have Eyes

A remake of Wes Craven's 1977 film of the same name. A family on a cross-country drive to California get stranded in the New Mexico desert, in an area that was once used for nuclear testing. Since this is a horror movie, all that testing turns the locals into murderous mutants, and guess who their next victims are going to be? This film is pretty gruesome, so give it a miss if you don't have a strong stomach.
