Memoirs of a Geisha


Set in Japan in the era leading up to World War II, we take a close up look at how a young girl becomes a geisha, in order to get close to the man she loves. During her training, she finds herself in the middle of a power struggle between two leading women in the geisha training house. Once qualified, her life gets even more complicated when her target's best friend falls madly in love with her, putting them all in a difficult position.
