The son of a wealthy casino owner goes missing, and she posts a large reward. By chance, two strangers, a young man and a young woman, jointly find the boy, and decide to return him together to claim the reward. When they get there, they find the woman has been murdered. They flee the scene, but leave some of their possessions there. The police are soon on their tail, but as the police get closer, the number of possible suspects soar...
