A shy young woman works at the glove counter in a department store. She is lonely and looking for love, eventually agreeing to a date with a slacker artist. Soon after, a rich businessman swoops her off her feet, while insisting that he is not looking for a serious relationship. As her slacker friend is touring with a rock band, she agrees to a fling with the businessman, but finds herself falling for him. He, however, still does not want anything serious.. and then the slacker returns, a changed man. Decisions, decisions...
