After a leg injury, a college football star is reduced to working in the sports-betting industry. He is surprisingly accurate with his predictions, which attracts the attention of a big-shot New York operator, who takes him under his wing. Things go well for a while, until success gets in the way of judgement and the game predictions are more wrong than right. Will the two men be able to overcome their growing animosity to save their business?
