Based on the award-winning smash hit stage play, this movie takes a look at a group of HIV-positive young people in America, back around 1990. The eclectic mix includes various gay men, and assorted characters from the seedy side of life. They're all looking for love and happiness while the AIDS crisis is unfolding among them. The storyline is loosely based on Puccini's opera ''La Boheme''.
