A complex romantic triangle. A blind girl meets and falls in love with a young man. He arranges an eye operation for her, which restores her sight, but before she can see him, he is killed. The doctor takes her overseas to get away from things, where she meets a rich young man, who pursues her against her will. Eventually, she agrees to marry him.
