An advertising executive is stuck in an unhappy marriage and burdened by the medical expenses of his diabetic child. One day, he meets a married woman on a train, and they decide to comfort each other. Unfortunately, a burglar breaks into their hotel room, and upon understanding the situation, decides that blackmail is a safer and more profitable career path. This puts the couple in a spot, since going to the police would wreck both their marriages. Instead, the man decides to take matters into his own hands... Expect numerous plot twists.
