After an actor is fired by his director, he resorts to disguising himself as a black woman. While on the run, he finds himself in the home of an American woman, who mistakes him for her new maid. Attracted to her, he continues the charade, but things get more complicated when he finds out that her boyfriend is the director who fired him. At the same time, he adopts another disguise so that he can court his new boss. As the situation gets more complicated, things eventually come to a head and the truth comes out... with disasterous consquences.
