Crash

I'm not really as racist as I seem.... Before doing the script for Million Dollar Baby, writer/director Paul Haggis made this movie. It takes a look at racism in modern-day Los Angeles, using a large ensemble cast of assorted ethnic origins. The interweaving plotlines are driven largely by a set of policemen going about their daily jobs while also dealing with their own personal problems while not on duty. As the characters interact frankly, the viewer is given considerable food for thought.

111 minutes, No persons under 16 (Language, Violence, Prejudice).
Crime, Mystery, Drama, On the Art Circuit.
