After being shot in the head during the first Gulf War, a soldier returns to America. One day, while hitchhiking, he helps a mom and her daughter, before later incidents find him framed for a murder. He is locked up in a mental hospital, where a doctor drugs him, straps him in a straightjacket, and leaves him in a morgue drawer. While there, he somehow time-travels to 15 years in the future, where he discovers that back in the past, he had been murdered. He also meets the adult version of the daughter he helped before, has a romance with her, and persuades her to help him find his killers and maybe prevent his death... Reviews have been very mixed.
