A remake of John Carpenter's 1976 original, updated for a new generation. The action takes place one New Year's Eve, where the alcoholic cop in charge of a small police station has arrested the leader of a ruthless gang. After a snowstorm starts, trapping them in, they realise they are under attack from outside. No, it's not the baddie's buddies trying to break him out, it's rogue cops intent on killing everyone inside to cover up their dirty dealings. The cop and the gangster find themselves working on the same team to stay alive.
