A mentally retarded man brings up his young daughter, as her mother left soon after giving birth. When she is around seven years old, her maternal grandfather arrives from overseas, and wants to adopt her. This leads to a court battle, and the father having to rely on an embittered female lawyer to fight his impossible case for him. In Hindi language with English subtitles.
