Set agains the backdrop of India's fight for independence in 1947, the titular Kisna is a warrior poet. He defends a British girl, the daughter of a tax collector, from a murderous mob. He undertakes to escort her to safety in New Delhi. Along the way there, they find themselves attracted to each other, which creates a problem for Kisna, as he is already set for an arranged marriage. Hindi language with English subtitles.
