Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
Set in a retro-alternative world, kicking off in New York City just before World
War II, our hero, Sky Captain, teams up with a female journalist to deal with
monster robots which are attacking the city. They discover that the robots
were sent by a WW I-era German scientist, now operating out of Nepal,
with the usual plans for world domination. It's up to the good guys and their
flying skills to save the day. The film was shot almost entirely in front of
a blue screen, with everthing else around the actors added by
