An historian has been tracing the lost treasure of the Freemasons. He comes to the conclusion that there is a major clue on the back of the American Declaration of Independence. When he fails to gain access by the polite route, he decides to steal it instead. One thing leads to another, and pretty soon he and his partners are chasing down the treasure, while staying one step ahead of the FBI and his ex-partner.
