This epic romance attempts to bring India and Pakistan closer together. Many years ago, an Indian pilot rescued a Pakistani girl after she was stranded by a bus accident in India. For the last 22 years, he has been locked up in a Pakistani prison, refusing to talk. Now, a young Pakistani lawyer on her first case goes to see him, to try and find out why he is in jail and why he does not talk. As she learns what happened, she works to reunite the lovers.
