At Five in the Afternoon

Set amongst a group of refugees in post-Taliban Afghanistan, our heroine is a young Moslem woman with high ambitions: she wants to be the first female leader of her country. Her main problem is her conservative father, who doesn't even know that she is going to school. As they travel across the country in search of her lost brother, we get to see the aftereffects of the US-led war in Afghanistan, and the desperate plight of the people, which is a breeding ground for further problems.
