The Terminal
A foreign man arrives by plane in New York, just as his country is taken
over by insurgents. Flights back to the country are banned. Now,
with a worthless passport, he is denied entry into America, and
can't leave either. So he tries to survive in the airport
terminal, as the days turn into months. Along the way he interacts
