Think it's time for another contemporary reference?
Based on a popular children's book, the filmmakers decided to take the ''A Knight's Tale'' approach, with mixed results. Set in a fantasy environment replete with kings and ogres, our heroine is a young woman, cursed since childhood with the ''gift'' of obedience. When her evil stepsisters discover this and begin to abuse her, she decides to track down the fairy responsible and get the blessing removed. Along the way she bumps into Prince Charmont who is having problems with his uncle trying to prevent him from becoming king.
