South Africa's first Zulu feature film takes a look at the issue of AIDS and HIV. A young mother (Yesterday) falls ill, and learns that she is HIV positive. Her migrant worker husband refuses to accept this and leaves her to fend for herself and her young daughter. She tries to stay alive long enough to see her child go to school.
