The third movie version of Jules Verne's classic novel suffers as Hollywood makes a few changes to the script. Set over 100 years ago, our hero, a hapless inventor, makes a bet that he can travel around the world in 80 days. He takes along a new valet, who has just stolen a relic from the bank and needs a way out of England. In France, our hero picks up a love interest who joins them on their trip. Since this is a Jackie Chan movie, expect the usual mad antics and stunts, especially when they get to China.
