An ageing actor is depressed about his lack of accomplishment. He is friends with a young actor who admires him greatly. By chance, our hero meets a man who owes some gangsters money, and soon a plan is hatching to get his hands on that money, using his young friend. Things go well, until the real gangsters show up, and now the two actors have to act for their lives to keep the crooks off their tails.
