Spider-Man 2
Spidey is torn between two conflicting desires: his love for MJ, and his sense of duty to use his powers for good. Love wins, and he abandons his role as Spider-Man, just when an evil genius decides to rid the world of Spider-Man. At the same time, he has to worry about his former best pal gunning for him, and MJ getting engaged to an astronaut. All in all, a trying time for Spidey...127 minutes, Parental Guidance (Violence). Action, Fantasy, Romance, Sci-fi. You can usually find additional (copyrighted) pictures, trailers, etc, on the Official Site. |

| Ian Douglas: Spidey delivers the goods again... there is a decent plot, complex heroes and villians, plenty of action and even three romances... what more could you want? :-) On the down side, it does seem a bit slow at times, but I'm not sure what they could have cut to speed it up. While watching it, I recognised the Class in the script, so looked up the writer, Alvin Sargent. He's had a string of top movies over the years, including Unfaithful, Anywhere but Here, Ordinary People, and Paper Moon. He even had a small acting role in the 1953 Pearl Harbor blockbuster, From Here to Eternity. |
