Our hero is a very unlucky man. He is so unlucky, that he just needs to stand next to a winner in a casino, for that winner to start losing. He works at a casino as a ''cooler'', to make sure the house always wins. However, he falls in love with a pretty blonde, which changes him, making him useless as a cooler. This upsets both him and his boss, since he owes the boss money. Things get more complicated when his recently-married son and pregnant wife show up...
