After her husband leaves her, an alcoholic woman loses her house in error, to an immigrant Iranian and his family. She tries to undo the error and get her house back, but the Iranian is happy to stay where he is, as he struggles to support his family. Enter a deputy sheriff who decides to lend the woman a hand, although he has ulterior motives which come to the fore...
