Based on the popular children's book by Dr. Seuss, this live-action version needed some padding to stretch the book to feature length. As per the book, an overworked mom leaves her two kids to look after the house, and keep it clean, for an important meeting. She no sooner leaves when The Cat arrives, and soon there is chaos as his talent for entertainment takes over. The film comes in at 44 on the IMDB's Worst 100 films.
