Based on a series of true events in an Indian province, this film looks at the corruption practiced in some places in India. A young man and his wife get rejected by their local community after she is raped by the son of a local politician. The local cops do nothing, while the husband tries to fight for justice without success. Enter a new cop and his journalist partner, who take on the case, also enduring frustration at every turn. Eventually the cop suggests to the wife that she take matters into her own hands... The Indian reviewers were generally not impressed. Hindi language with English subtitles.
