A recently fired advertising executive thinks he has had a stroke of luck when an aunt dies and leaves him $150,000. However, there's a catch... he can only inherit if he takes takes over her gospel choir and gets them into the championship finals. The church and choir are in trouble, so he sets about finding new talent, which runs into church politics. Nevertheless, the new infusions soon have everyone rocking, while he works on his romance with a local songbird.
