Hong Kong's biggest-grossing movie finally arrives here. It blends two well-known themes, the martial arts tournament from the East, and the underdog-sports-movie from Hollywood. In essence, a group of kung-fu experts are welded into a soccer team, to take on the Team Evil for a large cash prize. They use their martial arts skills in soccer to give them a distinctly unfair advantage. Note that this is the dubbed, cut, American edition; some reviewers recommend getting hold of the subtitled original available on DVD instead.
