Set in New York shortly after 11 September 2001, a fire chief has to deliver eulogies at the memorial services for some of his fallen comrades. He is struggling to deal with his loss, and is unable to write the eulogies. Luckily, he meets a woman who has a way with words, and is also still trying to come to terms with what happened. Together, the put together the eulogies, both healing in the process.
