To Kill a King

Set shortly after the English civil war in 1645, the film focuses on the two men who lead the revolution -- Sir Thomas Fairfax, a soldier, and Oliver Cromwell, his deputy and a scheming politician. While Sir Thomas gave his wife some love and attention, Cromwell set about restructuring English politics to suit his agenda, including lopping off the King's head.
