Max

Politics is an art form... This film attempts to explain how Hitler turned out the way he did. It picks up in 1919, when Hitler, returning from World War I, meets a German-Jewish art dealer (the titular Max). Max is seeking new talent, and since Hitler has an interest in art, they think they can do business together. And so the relationship develops, and as time goes by, so does Hitler. Max, meanwhile, is having trouble juggling his pretty wife and mistress. Note: Max did not actually exist, his character is an amalgamation. The film is speculation.

108 minutes, No persons under 13 (Prejudice).
Drama, On the Art Circuit.
