The IMAX version of 1995's Apollo 13 is about 24 minutes shorter. It tells the true story of the ill-fated Apollo 13 moon shot, which ran into trouble in space, leading to worldwide concern and coverage as the men aboard and technicians on the ground battled to get the crew home alive.
