Set somewhere in South America, our hero is an investigator trying to track down a terrorist intent on overthrowing the government. When martial law is declared, he himself comes under suspicion. At the same time, he develops a relationship with his daughter's ballet teacher, since he is losing interest in his wife. These two plotlines climax together.
