 This African movie takes a close-up look at the slave trade to the USA several hundred years ago. Our heroine is a modern-day fashion model, who is swept back into the past by a magician. There, she is a humble house servant on an American plantation, and we get to experience the horrors of slavery through her eyes. The film also examines the role of Christianity in the slave trade.
