Not every thing you think is a sin is actually a sin...
This Mexican box-office success takes a look at how a corrupt environment corrupts even basically good individuals. A young ambitious Catholic priest is sent to a small town, to work under the aging local priest, and to deal with the corruption that is rife there. Initially he is a paragon of virtue, but his ambition leads him to turn a blind eye to some of the goings-on in the parish. Soon, he finds himself involved with a pretty young thing, which further hastens his slide down the slippery slope... Spanish with English subtitles.

Ian Douglas: Interesting examination of the *process* of corruption. This version is set in the Catholic church and
shows most people up as hypocrites, but I suppose it could be set within any power structure and produce similar effects.
