A look at police corruption, set around the Rodney King trial, and in some ways similar to the writer's recent ''Training Day''. An experience cop is breaking in a new rookie partner. They are investigating a convenience-store robbery, which had been ordered by their boss, but which ended in murder. They are ordered to pin the blame on two innocent people, and make sure they don't stay alive long enough for the truth to come out.
