American Desi

A Bollywood movie, which takes a look at cultural adaptation, amongst the Indian community in America. Our hero is a second-generation American Indian (as in India the country), who tries to be a normal American, and disowns his Indian cultural heritage. He's off to college, where he even adopts a new English name. Problem is, he is sharing a room with three other Indians, who are very strongly tied to India. To make matters worse, he then meets and falls in love with a very traditional Indian girl, forcing him to re-evaluate his cultural choices...
