This biopic takes a look at the rise and fall of American television actor Bob Crane, who played the lead in ''Hogan's Heroes''. While still coming to grips with the fame that the TV series brought him, he meets an electronic salesman, who introduces him to the swinging lifestyle, as well as the new-fangled video recorders, to record the action for later. And so begins his gradual decline, as his marriage folds and his sexual experiments get more bizarre.
