A young man returns home to South Africa from England, to sprinkle his mother's ashes on the farm they left when he was five years old. He gets a little lost, and is looked after by a family after telling them who he is. At dinner, he meets the whole family, and soon there is something going on between him and their daughter. Problem is, she is already engaged to the local bigshot, which means conflict is inevitable...
