Thank goodness for wirework!
A fourteen year old orphan, living in an orphanage, discovers an old pair of sneakers, which magically give him the ability to play basketball like Michael Jordon (hence the title). Soon, he is on a pro team and stealing all the attention, much to the chagrin of his roommate.
