Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Harry and his friends are back at magic school, for their second
year. Before long, unpleasant things begin happening, and some
fingers are pointed in Harry's direction. So it is up to him
and his mates to sort out the mystery again...Overseas reviews have been generally favourable, saying that this offers more of the same as the first movie, but is better done. 158 minutes, Parental Guidance (Violence). Mystery, Family movie. You can usually find additional (copyrighted) pictures, trailers, etc, on the Official Site. |

Ian Douglas: Well, I missed the first one, so was a bit confused as to why everyone was in such awe of Harry. Anyway,
the film is apparently a faithful adaptation of the novel, and I found it to be entertaining. The special effects are
good. Both Violet and I thought that the PG V rating was a little generous, as there are some scenes which could frighten
the little ones. Note also the long running time if you are taking young kiddies. The film opened extremely strongly
overseas, and will no doubt do the same here.
